Some people may not know that Justin Moore is a compulsive neat freak. He even considers himself a little OCD about keeping everything clean and organized and in its place. But there is one household chore that Justin absolutely cannot stand. “You know what, taking the clean dishes out of the dishwasher and puttin’ ‘em up. I’ll stand at the sink and wash ‘em all day, and even dry ‘em, but I hate puttin’ ‘em up for some reason.”
Perhaps it’s because Justin lives in a house with five people, which means the dishes might go into the dishwasher one at a time, but when it’s time to take them out, it’s a lot! And Justin says, “I don’t know why. But when I open it and I see it’s clean dishes, I’m like, grrrr, I was hopin’ you were dirty.”
Plus, Justin is one of those people that carefully and strategically loads the dishes in dishwasher. “And I fill it up completely where you can’t get another thing in it before I run it,” he says. But [my wife] Kate, she’ll run it with three things in there, and I’m like, ‘What are you doin’ (groan)?”
So, ask Justin to dust or sweep or mop, and he’s fine with it. But task him with putting away a dishwasher full of clean dishes and he’ll do it, but he won’t be happy about it.
