Hank Williams, Jr. noticed a couple of years ago that people were flocking to his shows in record numbers.  “Every show in ’14 and ’15 was either a record venue, whether it’s Seattle, Washington or Syracuse, New York, or Lincoln, Nebraska,” he says.  “The record for the venue or the record in merch sales.  This has been goin’ on for about two years.”

Hank finally had to wonder, what was going on to be driving the kind of numbers he was seeing, and his people told him, ‘They’re starved to hear what you sing about, that’s what’s goin’ on.  That’s why there’s eleven and a half thousand people at the New York State Fair, Hank.  That’s what’s goin’ on.  They wanna hear what you’re singin’ about.’

Hank says he likes that people feel that way, and his latest album, It’s About Time, featuring his latest single, “The Party’s On,” is a culmination of the people wanting to hear what he has to say
