Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts will soon put on his movie producer hat for a new film called All Shook Up, which he’ll also get to act in. Although the title might sound like an Elvis film, as Jay explains, it’s actually a film based on a pretty fascinating true story. “The U.S. Air Force actually lost a nuclear bomb in the 50s in Florida and they still haven’t found it. So it’s a story of these two kids that are on a journey looking for it and how they kind of come of age and it’s a really good family film. Really excited to be a part of it.”
All Shook Up is currently in development, so there’s no word on when it will hit theaters. In the meantime, Jay and Rascal Flatts just wrapped up their Las Vegas residency at The Venetian this weekend. They’re continuing to promote their latest single, “Back To Us,” and will soon announce their 2018 touring plans.
