(AUDIO) RASCAL FLATTS LOVED EXPERIMENTING IN THE STUDIO FOR THEIR NEW ALBUM, BACK TO US

Rascal Flatts will release their next album, Back to Us, featuring their latest single, “Yours if You Want It,” on May 19th.  They wrote or co-wrote six of the 13 songs on the deluxe version of the album, and self-produced 12 of the 13 songs.  Jay DeMarcus says, “We certainly have fun with experimenting and programming and coming up with loops and keyboard parts and guitar parts. One of my favorite things to do is sit with Joe Don all day long and him and I just kind of … get in there and just mess with guitar tones and parts and, you know, he’ll play a part and just kind of riffing around and something that will stick out and we’ll go, ‘Oh my God that’s kind of cool.’ That’s one of my favorite parts about the process.”

Fans can pre-order Back to Us now, with the option of ordering an autographed copy, on RascalFlatts.com.
