Rascal Flatts is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year at this year’s CMA Awards, and Jay DeMarcus says, “We look forward to seeing everybody when we do these award shows, because there are a lot of people that we’re really good friends with that we’ve either toured with or became really good friends with, that you don’t get to see throughout the year. So, one of the greatest things is being back stage and be able to catch up with all your friends.”
In addition to running into friends backstage, Jay says, “Some of the most fun I have is goin’ to all the after-parties afterward and sittin’ down, bein’ able to sing with them and party with them a little bit.”
The 49th Annual CMA Awards will air Wednesday, November 4th, on ABC.
