Rascal Flatts is a big supporter of our military, and when they think back on their first USO tour, Jay DeMarcus says, “It was the most awesome thing in the world. I think being in Fallujah with the Marines for a week was just one of the most incredible experiences that I think I’ll ever get to live through.”
Not only was it incredibly memorable to be in Iraq with our troops, but Jay says, “Before all the rules happened and you couldn’t do much, the Marines let us shoot everything, drive tanks and shoot 50 cal machine guns.”
Most recently, Rascal Flatts participated in a Christmas radio special that was broadcast to military bases worldwide. These days the group is putting the finishing touches on their next album, featuring their new single, “Yours If You Want It,” which will be released in either late spring or early summer.
