Rascal Flatts’ label mate, Taylor Swift, recently blew her Nashville concert audience away when she welcomed the iconic Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones on stage to sing their legendary hit, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” Gary, Joe Don and Jay know what it’s like to share a stage with the Rolling Stones, after being invited to open for them this past 4th of July. Gary LeVox says, “I mean, that was one you could put on the bucket list and you go, ‘OK, that’s a last resort.’ It’s just, it’s a blessing.”
Jay DeMarcus agrees. He says, “Well, you know, I’m a huge, we’re all a huge Stones fan. So, like Gary was saying, it’s a dream that you shoot for, but never know that it would ever become a reality. So, to get that phone call was, you know, just like, are you kidding me?”
He also jokes, “They’re wrong. You can get some satisfaction.”
Rascal Flatts is finishing up their Riot! Tour through mid-October, and they’re also promoting their latest single, “I Like the Sound of That,” off their Rewind album.
