All of the guys in Rascal Flatts have families, which makes it tough sometimes to leave home when they’re out on tour. Fortunately they’ve reached a point in their careers where they can arrange their touring schedules to better suit their families. Jay DeMarcus says, “We’ve gotten to the point where we only work weekends now, like Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and we try to be home on Sundays through Wednesday so that our relationships with our families are still our main priority and focus.”
When they have to be away from home, the guys rely on technology to keep in touch with their families. Jay, who has two young children, Dylan and Madeline, says, “I do a lot a Facetime with them, literally, when I’m away from ‘em.”
Rascal Flatts has recorded a version of “Let It Go” from the movie Frozen, with Lucy Hale. The song will be featured on the new We Love Disney album, which will be available on October 30th, and can be pre-ordered now, here.
