(AUDIO) REBA McENTIRE WANTS TO SEE THE WORLD AT HER OWN PACE

When Reba McEntire isn’t busy working, promoting her latest single, “Back to God,” touring, working with her merchandise lines or acting, she loves to travel, both in the U.S. and internationally.  She says, “I love both. There are so many places in the United States I haven’t been. I’ve been to every state in the union but to get to really stay, there’s a lot of things that I want to go do.”

Reba loves getting travel recommendations from her friends.  For instance, she says, “My hairdresser, Tim Burke in L.A., I’ll say, “Okay, what are the other women saying their favorite vacations are?’  So he told me about the Wickaninnish Inn on Vancouver Island south of Tofino, and also going on into Canada and doing the Rocky Mountain air train trip. Do that from Calgary or Banff all the way over to Vancouver and then go on over to Vancouver Island and stay at the Wickaninnish Inn. There’s so much of this beautiful world I haven’t seen that I want to see.”

Reba spent part of her Mother’s Day weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway watching her son Shelby race in an Indy Car race.
