(AUDIO) Reba Soars To #1 Again – Sets New Record For Herself

It’s obvious that fans were anxious for Reba to release Love Somebody, because it soared to #1 on the Billboard Top Country Album chart! The Icon didn’t stop there. Her first album in 5 years crossed all boundaries by debuting at #3 on the Billboard All-Genre chart.

So far, one chart topping single release has resulted in over 100,000 downloads. “Going Out Like That” is now the biggest single sales debut of Reba’s career! And that’s saying a lot for someone who’s had 35 previous #1s.

With the latest charts, she even beats her own numbers from her 2010 release of All The Women I Am. That album debuted at #3 in Country and #7 on the All Genre Album charts. Considering there are 13 other songs on the cd…she’s just getting started!

Reba has seen a lot of different trends in music throughout her career. For one, there aren’t as many women on the charts as there were when she first started. So, it’s exciting to still be a part of country radio…

Reba – music trends cycle back around :19
“I think I made a comment…when is it gonna get back to where you hear two females songs in a row on radio? Ya know, you’ll hear one female and then ten men, and then one female. And I want it to get back to where at least equal or maybe a little bit heavier on the female. But yeah, everything happens kind of in a cycle.”
