Riley Green has been out on the We Back Tour with Jason Aldean for a little while, and while it’s a big opportunity for Riley to gain new fans and expose thousands more people to his music, before the tour kicked off, Riley knows that Jason is a big outdoorsman and hunter, and he joked, “That’s really the only reason I’m goin’ on tour with him is to try to get some hunts out of him – huntin’ trips.”
Jason co-owns the hunting company Buck Commander with his good buddy Luke Bryan, and a couple of their other friends, and Riley hosts his own hunting show on Halo Country, so he instantly knew they’d have that in common. “He’s a big outdoorsman, a big hunter, and I’m sure we’ll get along in that aspect. We’ll always have something to talk about.”
We don’t know how much hunting talk or planning has gone on between Riley and Jason, but Riley will play his last show on the tour on March 14th, so hopefully he’s had a chance to at least lay the groundwork for future hunts, perhaps as a celebration when his latest single, “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” goes to #1.
