Riley Green just kicked off his gig as the opener on Brad Paisley’s tour and he is excited to spend his summer with Brad because he says, “I was always a Brad Paisley fan growing up and I can’t really think of anybody that doesn’t like Brad. You know, he’s got a real fun personality and he’s been doing it for a long time. So, to even get asked to be on that tour is such a big honor.”
Besides winning over new fans, Riley plans to spend his time on the Brad Paisley tour learning as much as he can. “It being my first major tour and going out in support,” says Riley, “my band and my crew could probably learn a lot of stuff that’ll help us down the road in our career.”
Riley is also very excited about Brad Paisley’s backstage catering, because he has heard stories about how Brad serves some incredible meals from steak to seafood. “I’ve heard about his catering being top notch in the backstage area. We’re used to beef jerky and protein bars on the bus, so it’ll be very refreshing to go have a nice meal before or after a show. That’s something I’m looking forward to.”
This summer Riley will be performing fan favorites, plus songs from his upcoming EP, Get That Man A Beer, which comes out June 14th, and will feature his number one song, “There Was This Girl” and his latest single, “In Love by Now.”
