Long before Riley Green was making a living as a country music singer, he was a country music fan, who enjoyed going to see other artists in concert.  The first concert he ever saw was the rock group KISS, which he said didn’t impact him too much as an aspiring singer, but a country concert that he remembers vividly is seeing Eric Church.  Riley says, “I’m going to be playing Auburn Rodeo this year. I can remember going to watch Eric Church there and just thinking like, how awesome it would be to be able to play on that stage.”

Riley is now selling out a lot of the same venues where he once went to see other people in concert and he says, “It’s crazy. I sort of skipped some steps almost, it seems like to me, even though it took 10 years of playing like that, it seems like a still happened quick.”

Riley already had a substantial fan base before he released his debut single, “There Was This Girl,” but now having a song on the radio, his fan base has continued to grow, allowing him to sell out even more venues on his headlining Outlaws Like Us Tour.

“My first concert that I ever saw was KISS, so I don’t think that rubbed off on me too much at all.  But I’m going to be playing Auburn Rodeo this year.
