(AUDIO) RILEY GREEN IS PROUD TO SERVE THOSE WHO SERVE OUR COUNTRY THROUGH HIS MUSIC

When Riley Green graduated from high school, many of his buddies and guys he saw every day left Alabama to join the military. “All the sudden they’re gone for years at a time, and that’s something that was really tough for me to even imagine,” says Riley. “Now that signing a record deal and going on radio tour, I got the smallest little glimpse of what being away from home for, you know, an extended amount of time is like.  And that’s one part I can’t imagine, you know, and it’s something that I don’t know how anybody couldn’t have a huge appreciation for people in the military, not only just being away from your family, but the stuff they have to go through over there.”

While Riley didn’t choose to join the military, he says, “I’m really proud to be able to write songs, and especially those e-mails and messages and stuff I get from troops who are saying my song helped remind them of home, you know.  So it’s a really cool thing to be able to write music that touches people, and especially somebody that are out there workin’ for our freedom.”

Riley just released his new song, “In Love by Now,” and he’s preparing to hit the road as one of the openers on Brad Paisley’s 2019 World Tour.
