Riley Green has always been very close to his family, especially his mom, and growing up, it was never apparent that Riley was so talented he was going to grow up and be a country star, but he’s so grateful that she supported his love of music just the same. He says, “She was always really supportive of me playing music, and it was never in the sense of like I was this child prodigy that was just such a great musician we knew I was gonna make it. It was more like I enjoyed it. You know, she used to drive me to guitar lessons when I was a kid.”
Riley’s mom would have supported him even if music had just turned out to be a hobby or something he only played for fun, but because of her love and support, and the support of his whole family, Riley just celebrated his first #1 song with “There Was This Girl,” and he’s already climbing back up the charts with his second single, “In Love By Now.”
