(AUDIO) RILEY GREEN WELCOMES HIS CELEBRITY BAR NEIGHBORS TO HIS PART OF TOWN

current single: “DAMN GOOD DAY TO LEAVE

Riley Green opened his own bar, Riley Green’s Duck Blind, away from where most celebrity bars are located in Nashville. Instead of being in downtown, he’s in an area of town about a mile up the road known as Midtown. While his is the only celebrity bar in that area right now, Riley will soon be joined by Old Dominion, who are opening Odie’s in Midtown, and word is, Koe Wetzel will also be opening a bar in that area.  Riley welcomes anybody who wants to be his neighbor in Midtown, because he wasn’t trying to get away from the other celebrity bars, he just felt like that part of town was more his style.

“Well, Midtown’s always been such a cool place to me. It’s always felt like where the locals hang out, where you might actually run into some of these artists that you come to Nashville to see. And yeah, I mean, Old Dominion being over there and Koe being over there, it’s only gonna help that area and help the business. My business manager would hate to hear this, but just having my name on a bar is such a validating thing in the eyes of the country music industry that it really would help me if I didn’t make a dime from the business, you know? So, I mean, I hope it works, but it’s just such a cool thing to be a part of it. And I love that it’s really true to my brand. And, you know, being the Duck Blind, I’d go hang out at a bar called the Duck Blind whether I was a part of it or not.”
