(AUDIO) RILEY GREEN’S DUCK BLIND IS LOCATED IN A PLACE THAT IS TRUE TO WHO RILEY IS

current single: “DAMN GOOD DAY TO LEAVE

Riley Green recently opened his very own Nashville bar called Riley Green’s Duck Blind. Rather than being in downtown Nashville among the famous honkytonks and other popular celebrity bars, Riley’s place is about a mile up the road, in an area known as Midtown, which sits just a few blocks away from Nashville’s famous Music Row. Not only is Riley excited about having his own bar, but he’s excited that it’s located in an area of town that is significant to him.

“I would have never thought this would even be a conversation to have a bar in Nashville with my name on it. You know, there’s a lot of artists with their name on bars on Broadway, and it’s always seemed a little touristy to me because I’ve never hung out on Broadway, so I’ve never had any interest in that. And nothing against those bars or those artists, but for me, it felt like it was really true to me to partner and have my name on a bar in a place that I spend a lot of time. And every relationship I’ve gotten in Nashville, every songwriter, every artist I’ve met has been in that building. And now that’s where hopefully a lot of artists can come and get their start, and writers can meet other people and make relationships and have careers like I did.”

During the grand opening of Riley Green’s Duck Blind, he announced his next album titled Don’t Mind If I Dowill be released on October 18th.
