(AUDIO) RILEY GREEN’S TOURING LIFE HAS BEEN RUINED BY BRAD PAISLEY

Riley Green just wrapped up his time as the opener on Brad Paisley’s World Tour, which was his first major, meaning he enjoyed a set schedule, someone else being in charge of the logistics and running the show, and quality catering backstage at every venue.  In fact, Brad is known for his incredible catering on tour, often providing gourmet meals, fresh seafood dishes, and delicious, well-rounded meals every day and night, and Riley says, “The catering, we’re ruined because of it. You know I’ll go out and play my own shows during the week, and then I go out with Brad on the weekend, and it’s like me and the band will just be wandering around, like looking for a catering tent, and we don’t have it.  You know, on our shows we’re like scrounging together to get a after show pizza.”

In fact, most newer artists are relegated to deli trays, pizza or whatever food the local venue provides when they play a show, if they provide food, which is definitely not the same caliber as Brad’s catering.  But aside from no more awesome catering, Riley is excited to be headlining his own Get That Man A Beer Tour through the end of the year, with a 12-city run opening for Jon Pardi on his Heartache Medication Tour in October and November.  Riley is also looking forward to releasing his debut album, Different ‘Round Here, on September 20th, featuring his current single, “I Wish Grandpas Never Died.”
