When travel restrictions were lifted and Americans were allowed to finally travel to Cube, Ronnie Dunn couldn’t wait to get there. He took his first trip with a group of buddies. He says, “There were nine of us jumped on a 45-foot catamaran and took off dead into a storm and took us, I think, 14 hours to get over. You know they say that you have to be cleared through the Treasury Department to legally be able to go in and we were and we went in and just went nuts taking the most killer photos.”
The trip was so incredible for Ronnie that he hopes to be able to do it again. “It’s shocking to see how that country has been managed via communism and how resilient and warm and open the Cuban people are,” says Ronnie, “And I hope to be able to get to go back. It was a life changing event for me.”
Ronnie just released his brand new single, “I Worship the Woman You Walked On.”
