When you hear “Ain’t No Trucks In Texas” on the radio, it sounds perfect for Ronnie Dunn. So much so, that a lot of fans assume the award winning songwriter wrote it, but he didn’t.
He’s credited for over two-thirds of Brooks & Dunn’s #1 songs, but for his next solo album due soon, Ronnie listened to more songs than usual, because he didn’t feel the pressure he had in the past to sit down and write something. He wrote plenty for the new album, but also loved the songs he and his label found by other songwriters.

Ronnie Dunn – Endless stream of really good stuff :17
“We were under a lot of pressure to write songs in scenarios in the past. When started looking for songs, I’d never been exposed to outside songs that I feel are as strong as these are. It’s just an endless stream of really, really good stuff.”
