(AUDIO) RONNIE DUNN HAS NO DESIRE TO VEER TOO FAR OFF HIS MUSICAL PATH

Ronnie Dunn is releasing his brand new album, Tattooed Heart, this Friday, and while there are some songs that may have challenged him a little, Ronnie says, “I never feel the need to keep up with trends or to push myself out of my comfort zone just to stay relevant. If I have to go to that point, I’m not going to do that. I’m not going to record a song that I actually don’t in some way like, in some way, shape, or form. It’s kind of that simple.”

Ronnie’s pushed himself on his new album with songs like “Young Buck,” and he says, “I may waiver off from that standard Brooks and Dunn traditional honky tonk sound that we did for a long time, but that’s just part of it. I mean you have to go and explore different areas, but I’m not going to dive off into something that I don’t want to do.”

Tattooed Heart is Ronnie’s third solo album, and his first on NASH Icon Records, and it features Ronnie’s latest single, “Damn Drunk.”
