(AUDIO) Ronnie Dunn Recalls Some Wild & Funny Times On The Road

Most people when they perform keep the stage fairly simple, but Brooks & Dunn never did. Ronnie Dunn says, “We traveled with a thing called ‘Neon Circus’ years ago where we had people working the audience and stuff during the pre-show.”

By the time they launched that unique tour in 2001, they already had 3 trophies for Entertainer of the Year. Those who saw The Neon Circus & Wild West Show Tour will recall fire-breathers, knife jugglers, and clowns. It was a real circus!

Although that doesn’t fit Ronnie’s stage show these days, it worked well for the time and set them apart from everyone else…

Ronnie Dunn – silliness on the road :20
“We had people working in the audience, pre-show and during the acts doing all kind of crazy stuff, from cowboy stilt walkers to this one guy that was a contortionist who walked out with a toilet seat and climbed all the way through it. You kinda had to see it. Oh, oh, and there was a bubble blowing goat too. So, just silly things like that.”
