Ronnie Dunn – Duet with Reba :17
I played for Reba a song that’s called “Still Feels Like Mexico” and she came back and says “I wanna sing on that.” So just that quick, so sure, why not? How am I gonna tell you no? Are you kidding? I wouldn’t tell her no anyway. She did it, and we mixed it and it’s a duo, a duet.”
More Ronnie Dunn News
Last week, Ronnie lent his voice on stage for a PBS taping. He jokingly tweeted a photo captioned, “The Old man and the new kid.” He was referring to his performance with Brett Eldredge (Brett is one of many who has credited Brooks & Dunn for career inspiration.) Their performance will air on a future episode of CMA Front and Center on PBS. Click here for more details… http://www.frontandcenter.com/
Ronnie’s current hit single is “Ain’t No Trucks in Texas.”
Brooks & Dunn and Reba had a two week #1 hit in 1998 with “If You See Her.” The common denominator between that and “Still Feels Like Mexico” is…songwriter Tommy Lee James.
“Cowgirls Don’t Cry” with Reba was Brooks & Dunn’s last top 10 hit. It went to #2 in 2009 and was nominated for a CMA award.
Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas Residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will resume December 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 11 and 12.
