The season three soundtrack from ABC’s Nashville is available now, featuring many of the songs heard during this season of the show performed by the actors who sang them. One song Sam Palladio, who plays Gunnar, sings with Clare Bowen, who plays Scarlett, is called “Longer.” It’s a song they performed together when the Triple Ex’s traveled to Chicago on the show, and Sam says, “I think ‘Longer’ is a stunning song. It sort of is a nod back to the original Scarlett and Gunnar that we heard back in season one. It’s this sort of haunting, dark love song, that actually Gunnar springs on Scarlett in the midst of a show, which obviously throws her off the rails a little bit, and the repercussions afterward are quite exciting and dramatic.”
