DEBUT SINGLE: “How It Oughta Be”
NOW STREAMING “Country Boys”
Shane Profitt has never been a big believer in New Year’s traditions or superstitions, like eating black eyed peas and collard greens on New Year’s day to bring good luck and financial prosperity in the coming year, or making New Year’s resolutions. But that all changed in 2022, and not only did Shane make a resolution, but he accomplished it with plenty of time to spare.
Shane Profitt – New Year’s resolution :32
“I’ll be honest, up until this last year I hadn’t ever made one. My mom always makes the beans and the hog jaw and stuff, the cabbage that you’re supposed to eat every New Year’s, and I always just kinda close my eyes and act like I’m making a wish. But this year I actually did because I just signed my publishing deal when New Year’s came around and my New Year’s resolution for last year, or this year I guess it would be, was, I would love to get some cuts as a songwriter. And by January I had that, so it was amazing.”
