Shane Profitt met his mentor, Chris Janson, for the first time at a sushi restaurant, which is ironic because up to that point he had never eaten sushi and was pretty sure he didn’t like it. Shane was only at the restaurant because he was on a date with a girl who said she wanted sushi. Since that fateful night, Shane has made an effort to give sushi a try, but it’s been a slow process, as evidenced by his answer when we asked him his favorite kind of sushi so far.

“Uhh, cooked sushi. I really like crunchy shrimp. sushi roll (big laugh). The crunchy shrimp sushi roll is my go to if we go to a sushi restaurant. I still haven’t stepped into the raw aspect of the sushi side, but maybe one day I’ll expand my horizons and step into that raw sushi aspect.“
