DEBUT SINGLE: “How It Oughta Be”
When it comes to earning his way in the world and managing his finances, Shane Profitt has a pretty good head on his shoulders thanks to his parents.
Shane Profitt – strong work ethic :33
“Growin’ up, I was always taught if you’re not gonna get it, nobody else is for you. So, if you need somethin’, you go out and you do it yourself. You don’t complain about what you don’t have, you work for what you don’t have. And that’s how I was raised, that’s the work ethic I have. My parents taught me that from a young age. Whenever I was in high school, I was workin’ at a farm. I paid for my first truck. My dad did pay for it up front, and I was making payments to him that way I wouldn’t have to go through a bank. But my parents taught me how to earn money, how to save money and don’t expect any handouts.“
If you ask Shane, be willing to work hard for what you want and not expecting someone else to give it to you is just another example of “How It Oughta Be.”
