DEBUT SINGLE:  “How It Oughta Be”

NOW STREAMING: “Better Off Fishin’ (The Acoustic Version)”

Shane Profitt celebrates his 23rd birthday on Tuesday, January 17th, which means he wasn’t even alive in the 90’s, but he was exposed to all the great country music from the 90’s, and it’s some of his favorite music.  He even references a 90’s country song in the second verse of his song, “Better Off Fishin’,” which is available now.

“‘Got Clint turned up talkin’ Killin’ Time…’ Whenever I’m on the boat, chances are I have a speaker with me and I have it on 90s country radio shuffle. You know, you get anything from Brooks & Dunn to Clint Black. It’s great. And a lot of times I’ll throw in some Keith Whitley and Merle Haggard in that shuffle too. I’m out there fishin’ and just having a good time, it’s great.“

It’d be nice if somebody gave Shane the day off to go fishin’, but knowing him, he’d be happy working on anything anybody asked him to, to help further his career.
