CURRENT SINGLE: “Country Again”
Thomas Rhett is a father of three daughters, with a fourth one on the way in November, so he knows a thing or two about being a parent, but he’ll also be the first person to admit there’s so much he doesn’t know. In fact, Thomas says, “I think advice I would give parents-to-be is to understand that you will never get to a point where you say, I figured it out, or I’ve gotten it all right. As a parent, you’re gonna mess up. You’re gonna say things that you shouldn’t, your patience is going to run thin at certain times.”
Whenever Thomas gets to the point as a parent where he feels like he might lose his mind, he advises, “Take it day by day, and even in your deepest frustration, always realize that you have kids that look up to you, and you get one chance to be their hero. I heard that quote and it stuck with me. So, take it serious, and love ‘em and cherish all the moments you get with ‘em.”
We know Thomas soaked up so many precious moments with his daughters while he was at home full-time during quarantine, and he says he hopes to continue some of the quality bonding activities they started during the last year in the years to come.
