Sugarland loved working with Taylor Swift on their latest song, “Babe,” which Taylor co-wrote and sings on with Jennifer and Kristian, and they love the fact that the song might become a gateway for new fans to discover their music. “I think it’s great,” says Kristian. “People rarely say, ‘Ooh that’s my favorite singer.’ They always say, ‘That’s my favorite song,’ right? So it starts with something you don’t know and then it becomes something you do know and then you dive in deep. I’m so excited to see who starts coming to these shows that we have never met and watching them sit beside someone that is a Sugarland fan for a long time and watch them interact. I think that’s going to be fantastic.”
It was especially thrilling for Sugarland to get to perform “Babe” live for the first time with Taylor, on the final night of the North American leg of her reputation Tour at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
