(AUDIO) SUGARLAND’S SOUND IS UNIQUE TO THEIR CHEMISTRY

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush enjoyed recording solo projects during their hiatus from Sugarland, but they also admit there’s something unique about the music they make together that they can’t get anywhere else.  “I definitely think that there is a Sugarland sound,” says Jennifer.  “The music that we write together, based on grooves and rhythms and vocal melodies and abilities, on each of our parts, that we each uniquely bring, when they come together, they do create a specific sound.”

That sound can be heard all over Sugarland’s latest album, including their latest single, “Babe,” and Jennifer says, “I think when you look at each of our solo work and work that we’ve done with other people in the interim, you will see the parts of each of us that are the parts of each of us individually, and then when we come together, there is an alchemy in that, too.”
