“When you’re performing, it’s not ever about you as the artist. It’s about making people excited and bringing people in and making them feel comfortable and letting them have a good time at a concert. So, for me, I’m super introverted, and so the last thing I would be comfortable with is all the eyes on me. But if I think about it from the sense of, you’re an artist, and people listen to your music and they appreciate it and they relate to it and this helps them, then it for some reason helps me process that. And if I can help anyone or just make their day in any kind of a way, then that’s exactly what I wanna do.”
