The Band Perry will spend Thanksgiving in Europe, where they are currently in the middle of a five week run of dates on their We Are Pioneer Tour.  One of the things they are thankful for when they think about their European fans is their passion.  “One of my favorite moments from being there in the UK is we played a show in Manchester and it was the first night that we played ‘Pioneer’,” explains Reid “and there’s a line in it that says ‘We won’t hush,’ and one of our favorite lines in the song.”  Kimberly picks up the story and explains that a group of girls who had been at their Manchester show showed up in London the next night and they were holding up a sign that said, “We Won’t Hush.”  “That’s what they pulled away from ‘Pioneer,’” she says, “and so that was a real moment of clarity for the three of us.  We were like, ‘Alright, this is a theme from this album.  This is what people are hearing from The Band Perry.’  And so much of the record talks about making noise, whatever your noise is.  For us it’s picking up electric guitars and mandolins and bass guitars.  It is so cool to see the fans take that away.”  The Band Perry’s current single, “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely,” off their Pioneer album, recently became their latest top ten single.
