(AUDIO) The Band Perry Enjoyed Improved Live Show With Latest Album

The Band Perry will launch their worldwide headlining tour next month and they say having their latest album, Pioneer, has really breathed new life and new energy into their shows.  “It’s been great just because we love playing live and being able to add not only new songs but new fast songs, which are always more fun to play live,” says Reid.  “It really breathed in a whole new energy, not only for us, but for the people who’ve seen the show five, ten times.”  Kimberly says their latest single, “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely” has already become a major musical moment in their live shows, and she says it’s interesting because they worked so hard to dig deep and create great songs for the album, “Now the songs and their form, having worked so hard on them are forcing us to really work hard on the live shows.  It’s funny how we challenge ourselves to grow the songs and the songs are challenging us to grow the show.  Just really cool to see the fans respond to that.”
The We Are Pioneers Tour will kick off on November 8th in Europe.

Reid – “It’s been great just because we love playing live and being able to add not only new songs but new fast songs, which are always more fun to play live.  We actually open up our show with ‘Done’, which is a bit of an oxymoron but it’s been great.  It really breathed in a whole new energy, not only for us, but for the people who’ve seen the show five, ten times.”
Kimberly – “Well, we were talking about this earlier.  I mean, we dug really, really deep for the tracks on this record.  Worked really hard but this interesting thing happened.  It was like now the songs and their form having worked so hard on them are forcing us to really work hard on the live shows.  It’s funny how we challenge ourselves to grow the songs and the songs are challenging us to grow the show.  Just really cool to see the fans respond to that.”
