The Band Perry just launched the North American portion of their We Are Pioneers Tour, and if you get a chance to see their live show you’ll probably get a sense of the elements that inspired their latest album and are now inspiring the look and feel of their live show. Kimberly Perry says, “The three of us, always have a mental picture of something when we go into the writing room. I mean, it’s almost like we paint these images and then write around them. Every time we sat to write we kind of had a picture of an army marching forward, a marching band, forward motion.” And now that those songs are coming to life on stage, Kimberly says, “We’ve really begun to build all of our live show elements around that (too).” The Band Perry will be touring Canada throughout January, and then on the 31st they’ll begin their dates in the U.S.
