The Band Perry just released a brand new single off their Pioneer album called “Chainsaw,” but Kimberly says they’ve already started thinking and working ahead for their next album. “We’ve already been writing a ton towards the third record,” she says.

Before making Pioneer the siblings had their routines for writing, places they felt most creative, environments they were most comfortable writing in, but Kimberly says, “I feel like there was this crazy thing that happened on Pioneer where we had to sort of learn to be creative on the go. But once we got the hang of it, you know every new place that we travel, every new horizon we see somehow inspires us with brand new music. So, it’s a really cool and fertile creative time for us right now.”

It looks like a lot of the new record will have to be written on the road since their We Are Pioneers Tour will keep them out through the spring, and then they will join Blake Shelton on his Ten Times Crazier Tour in the summer.
