Plenty of fans have stood in lines and waited in meet and greets to meet The Band Perry, and if they had the opportunity, Kimberly can think of one person in particular she would wait in line to meet. “If we had the opportunity to take a picture with Keith Richards I think, I don’t even know if like I could stand,” she says. “I would be way too excited. But I would wait 24 hours.”
All three of them actually did wait in a meet and greet line to meet one musical legend, Paul McCartney. Reid says, “We weren’t able to take a picture because none of us had our phones … I don’t even know what we were thinking, but we got to meet Paul McCartney, and the only thing we could think of was, ‘You’re our favorite songwriter,’ and that was the only thing …”
Kimberly cringes when she thinks, “That’s all we could come up with, and yep, we do not have a picture.”
The Band Perry is currently putting the finishing touches on their third album, Heart + Beat, which they will release later this year.
