(AUDIO) The Band Perry’s Latest Hit Is An Emotional Child

The Band Perry’s latest hit, “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely,” is a bit of a departure from the hard-charging songs – “Better Dig Two” and “DONE” – they previously released off of their Pioneer album. Kimberly Perry says, “We felt like it was time to bring it back to the heart a little bit.” In fact she says if all of their songs are their children, they would consider “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely” their very emotional child. She also says, “It’s been a really special moment live, I mean, it’s a really cool one and the crowds are all singing it back to us right now.”

The Band Perry is currently in Canada with their We Are Pioneers Tour and they’ll begin touring in the U.S. on January 31st.

The Band Perry – Don’t Let Me Be emotional :23
Kimberly – “Well you know, we felt like it was time to bring it back to the heart a little bit. Somebody asked us earlier, ‘If all of your songs are your children, what child is, ‘Don’t Let Me Be Lonely’?’ and we said it was our very emotional child. It’s been a really special moment live, I mean, it’s a really cool one and the crowds are all singing it back to us right now. So, thank you guys for playin’ the heck out of it, we appreciate that.”
