The Cadillac Three announced their new album will be called Bury in My Boots, and Jaren Johnston explains, “’Bury Me in My Boots’ is a song, was one of the first ones that we wrote for this record. We wrote it in Austin at a soundstage kind of thing. We were just rehearsing and it just kind of happened accidentally. And it turned into this epic journey of a song that we really like. And it’s kind of the most, I don’t know, it’s the most epic thing on the record as far as looking back at our influences like Skynyrd and Hank and stuff like that. I think it’s the best thing to call this record.”

And if that isn’t enough of a reason, to choose that title, Jaren says, “We all wear pretty bitchin’ boots, so if I’m goin’ down, I wanna go out in style.”

Bury Me in My Boots will feature The Cadillac Three’s latest single, “Drunk Like You,” and will be available on August 5th.
