(AUDIO) The Cadillac Three Delivers Their Brand Of Country Fuzz

The Cadillac Three is out with their debut single, “The South,” which is a bit of a hybrid of good ‘ol country and Southern rock and lead singer Jaren Johnston says if he had to describe their sound he’d call it “country fuzz.” He says, “[It’s] the best of both of those worlds – a little lap steel, some raunchy, Southern vocals and some story song writing with some big drums.” He says The Cadillac Three’s sound is, “The combination of what we all grew up listening to, Bocephus and Skynyrd, and then kinda’ what’s goin’ on today, you know, with what Eric [Church] is doin’ right now and Dierks [Bentley] and we’re just excited to be somethin’ a little different for Nashville, bein’ born and raised there. But yeah it’s definitely a different sound.”

Next month The Cadillac Three will head to Europe with Eric Church for a dozen tour dates, and then they’ll be back in the U.S. to join Jake Owen on his Days of Gold Tour beginning March 20th.
