The Cadillac Three has already spent some time in Europe this year, and they have plans to go back at least once more later this summer. They have cultivated a huge European fan base, and Jaren Johnston says, “We grew up listenin’ to Tom Petty and lovin’, kind of, his total mindset and the way that…you know, he was big in Japan before he was even big in Gainesville, his hometown, so it’s like we were kind of excited about that option of going over there.”
The European fans are extremely dedicated and passionate, but Jaren says, “You have to keep goin’ back. So, we’ve been there eight times in the last two years and we made it a big priority for our brand and it’s grown in a crazy way and this last one was a first kind a like big headlining run and you’re hearin’ these people sayin’, ‘It’s all about the South’, but in a different accent and it’s kind a funny because they’re tryin’ to emulate what we’re doin’, I mean, they’re kind of enthralled with this Southern music movement that’s goin’ on and it’s really neat because we’ve been tourin’ the states since we were kids, but it’s neat to get over there and get some fresh scenery.”
Besides knowing The Cadillac Three’s singles, like their brand new song, “Drunk Like You,” European fans tend to know all of their music, even deep album cuts and unreleased music, because they discover a lot of their music through YouTube and online.

The Cadillac Three – Europe fresh scenery :49
Jared Johnston – “That whole thing over there was always something that we wanted to do. We grew up listenin’ to Tom Petty and lovin’, kind a, his total mindset and the way that…you know, he was big in Japan before he was even big in Gainesville, his hometown, so it’s like we were kind of excited about that option of going over there. The fans are really loyal and they keep comin’ back, but you have to keep goin’ back.
