(AUDIO) THE CADILLAC THREE HAS A NICE RING OF SUCCESS TO IT

Before The Cadillac Three, they were Cadillac Black, which made us wonder, why the guys were drawn to the name Cadillac.  According to Jaren Johnston, “I just thought it was a cool thing when I was a kid, it was always a sign of success.  It was, you know, Elvis, Cash, James Dean, they all had bad ass Cadillacs, you know what I mean?  So  I was like, the sign of success is nice.”

Kelby Ray says when they were Cadillac Black, the fact that there were three of them in the band made them consider changing the name, and Jaren says, “The Cadillac Three made more sense and we were like, ‘Let’s just do that,’ and it worked out.”

The Cadillac Three just released their brand new single, “Dang If We Didn’t,” which is the first song off their new album, Legacy, which will be out on August 25th.
