When you spend as much time on the road as The Cadillac Three, there are certain things they consider must-haves on the road. Actually, there’s one particular thing they must have everywhere they go. Lead singer Jaren Johnston says, “I think things we’d all three agree on, and that we can’t live without is some sort of Mexican food. We try to find a place almost every day, if not every day. We love our tacos and fajitas and stuff like that. It’s pretty cool to get to taste the different cities versions of the meals that we love.”
Of course Mexican food always goes well with adult beverages. Jaren says, “We do love, obviously, cold beer. Jack Daniels. I’m on a tequila kick right now, which is really neat because it goes along with the Mexican thing as well.”
Aside from a steady diet of Mexican food, Jaren says The Cadillac Three can’t live without their portable studio on their bus. It allows them to be creative at any hour of the day or night while out on the road. Jaren actually wrote the group’s latest single, “White Lightning,” using the studio on their bus.
