Jaren Johnston’s son Jude is almost five months old, and he has yet to join his daddy and The Cadillac Three on the road, but Jaren says, “This first weekend is going to be the weekend we’re playing the Ryman. I’m bringing out like a family bus and so we’re going to do that and I’m a little nervous about that but I think it will be good.”
All three guys in The Cadillac Three were born and raised in Nashville, so getting to headline The Ryman for the very first time is a huge deal. They’re excited to play some of their new album, including their latest single, “Dang If We Didn’t,” for the hometown crowd.
The night will be extra special for Jaren, having his whole family with him. He’s hopeful that the sounds of the bus will soothe baby Jude and help him sleep while daddy is rocking out on the stage. He jokes all this baby talk, “ It’s just very rock and roll.”
The Cadillac Three’s new album, Legacy, will be out on August 25th, and their sold out show at The Ryman happens August 31st.

Jaren Johnston – “This first weekend is going to be the weekend we’re playing the Ryman. I’m bringing out like a family bus and so we’re going to do that and I’m a little nervous about that but I think it will be good. You know it’s hard for him to, babies don’t sleep very well. You know what I mean? And during the night. So I think maybe the bus’ll kind of be a good noise maker. It’s just very rock and roll.”
