These days The Cadillac Three gets to travel the country touring and promoting their latest single, “Party Like You,” but they still remember some of the worst jobs they had before being able to make a living with their music. For lead singer Jaren it was sacking groceries at Foodland. Guitar player Kelby says he only lasted two days as a landscaper. And drummer Neil says, “I made smoothies for three years, it was terrible.” But Jaren is quick to point out, “He didn’t just make smoothies, though. He was the manager at Smoothie King.” Neil laughs and says, “I managed the hell out of that Smoothie King.”

WHAT THEY’RE DOING THIS WEEK – SEPTEMBER 1, 2014 – MONDAY 

The Cadillac Three have been touring heavy as usual and when they played Joe’s Bar is Chicago over the weekend they ran into Chicago Bull basketball star Jimmy Butler. This week, the guys are playing shows on Thursday (9/4) in Gainesville, Florida at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center with Jake Owen and the Eli Young Band, on Friday (9/5) in North Charleston, South Carolina at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center with Jake Owen and Parmalee and on Saturday (9/6) in Augusta, Georgia at the James Brown Arena with Jake Owen and Eli Young Band.
