When it came to selecting “White Lightning” as their next single, the Cadillac Three says it was kind of a no brainer. Lead singer Jaren Johnston says, “Everywhere we go, whether it’s in America, or in Europe, as soon as I sing that first line, everywhere, the kids sing everywhere. I guess they look it up on YouTube or somethin’, but it’s pretty wild to see. That’s kind of why we went for that as the single, because the label wanted one thing, kind of, and I said, ‘You guys gotta see what’s happening out here.’ So, it’s cool to see that, kinda, roots thing happen.”
“White Lightning” will be on The Cadillac Three’s debut album on Big Machine Records.
