All three guys in The Cadillac Three are great songwriters, and they’ve had many songs recorded by other artists, but they say the majority of the time, they know when a song is right for them as a band or not, when they’re writing it. Lead singer Jaren Johnston explains, “We’re different. Nobody could be like The Cadillac guys, they sound like this, they sound like that. There’s not anybody in our genre that we sound like, and so to keep it that cool, interesting thing, I think we have to be very careful of what songs we sing, and what songs we don’t because it can’t be forced. You have to just sing what is kinda natural to us. So I think it’s pretty obvious when we get done with a song.”
The Cadillac Three just released their brand new single, “White Lightning,” which was co-written by Jaren.
