The Cadillac Three has been working on their new album and they admit they definitely don’t want anything cookie cutter or ordinary. Lead singer Jaren Johnston says, “We’re just tryin’ to make it as out there as possible, but still be accessible to as many people as possible as well.”
The first album they recorded was very laid back. “It was just us in a room with a dude hittin’ a button record and us playin’,” says Jaren. They want to keep that same feel and attitude on the new record, but at the same time he says, “We’re actually doin’ in a real studio this time. It’s really cool but it’s still just the three of us in there playin’ and there’s gonna be some weird Pink Floyd moments and there’re gonna be some straight down the middle, ‘damn that’s a hit’ moments. So that’s what we’re tryin’ to do, just tryin’ to make the real record.”
The Cadillac Three’s debut album on Big Machine Records will feature their brand new single, “White Lightning.”

The Cadillac Three have been busy on the road and even played a show in Indianapolis on Easter Sunday (4/5). This week, the guys play shows in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Alabama.
