Valentine’s Day is this week, and when it comes to romance with his wife Lauren, Thomas Rhett has found that the little things matter just as much, if not more, than the big things. He says, “My idea of romance, obviously is doing romantic things every now and then, whether it’s, you know, taking her on a surprise trip somewhere or cooking a nice dinner. But I’m a big believer that everything starts in the morning, so if I can get up and unload the dishwasher or do these certain things, like she notices that kind of thing and we usually just have a better day and a better night.”
Thomas and Lauren have been married four and a half years, and we’re guessing the fact that he writes incredible songs about her like “Die A Happy Man” and “Star of the Show,” also earn him major points in the romance department.
