Thomas Rhett recently announced he has teamed up with Chubbies, the company best known for creating matching swimsuit collections for the whole family, for his Rhettro Collection of swimsuits and casual wear. About a year ago he posted a picture of him and his entire family in matching Chubbies swimsuits and he says, “They sent us those bathing suits on a beach trip one time and we just posted about it and we got just a lot of engagement from their fans and from our fans.”
That sparked the idea of Thomas partnering with Chubbies to create his own swimsuit collections, and he says, “We’re gonna do like three different lines, like one is like the family line and then one’s gonna be more for the summer and then one’s going to be more for the fall.”
One reason Thomas wanted to do the partnership with Chubbies is because he’s been a long-time fan. “The Chubbies brand has been around ever since I was in college and it’s really cool to get to work with somebody that you kind of would have killed to work with when you were 16 years old and now you get to work with them… and it’s just cool to kind of get to put your stamp on something that you find is cool.”
You can find the Chubbies Rhettro Collection by Thomas Rhett on chubbiesshorts.com and you can find TR’s latest single, “Remember You Young,” on his Center Point Road album and on your favorite streaming or download service.
